In light of COVID-19, we have taken steps to prevent the spread of germs inside and outside of our facilities. The safety of our staff, customers, and community is always top of mind. Our shipments may not be the prettiest but it’s not our style to spoil the environment to please the eye – beauty doesn’t come in one shape and size, and this applies to packaging, too! Cardboard boxes used in product shipments are also 85% recycled cardboard, the printed reclaimed paper used to fill the transportation boxes is 100% made of recycled materials and the packaging tape is recycled paper. Yes, the grass is actually greener on this side! By the end of 2020, 99% of our packaging is recyclable when empty, and 35% of the plastic packaging for our retail products were either recycled or bioplastic. According to EU legislation, testing these raw materials on animals has been banned since 2009. In our products, we use raw materials from known European suppliers. We do not test, and we do not have anyone else test Four Reasons products or their ingredients, on animals. Yes! All Four Reasons products are 100% vegan and cruelty-free. Simple as that!Īre your products vegan and cruelty-free? That's where Color Masks come in! Use in place of regular shampoo or conditioner whenever your hair color needs to be refreshed. We all know that beautiful hair color can fade and lose its vibrancy within a few washes. Color Masks are intended to tone hair or maintain your existing hair color. Quite the contrary actually! They gently cleanse and deeply condition and repair hair, while depositing color pigments to the hair's surface. Color Masks are specially formulated for color-treated hair, as they perfectly take into account all that colored hair needs: color refresh and deep conditioning! Color Masks don't contain harsh chemicals like ammonia. Great product overall.Ĭolor Mask Treatments are pigmented deep conditioners, and Color Mask Shampoos are pigmented shampoos. Reach out and contact them for guidance on their product. Finally, I was excited to test this product since it offers color with less damage to hair strands. but, if you are not familiar with color theory, ask the company first. And, gray hair really needs a much darker shade for covering adequately and often times requires permanent color for that reason as well.In addition, I think the seller's chart within the images is highly useful for selecting a color and which hair color level it will cover. Do a test strand. Also, if your hair has multiple colors in it from lifting with bleach, prior coloring, gray hair, or whatever reason, you can and probably should use a porosity evening product prior to using this color. In fact, this ammonia free demi permanent is an excellent option for a toner since bleaching and toning can be super stressful to hair strands.Next, I cannot believe how many people skip doing a test strand and just cover their entire head with an unknown product. This is not going to lift or go lighter so you can only use this to go a darker shade, refresh a similar shade you already have now, or tone and cancel out either yellow or orange tones. I received this demi permanent (temporary) hair color through the Amazon Vine Voice program.A few things, demi permanent is deposit only and washes out (fades) as a temporary color.
